Apple CEO Cook visits victims of last week's Apple Store car accident
CTOnews.com, Nov. 29-Apple's current CEO Tim Cook recently visited the victims of last week's Apple Store car accident in the Greater Boston district. In this incident, an SUV crashed into the facade of the Apple Store store, injuring many people and killing one.
Cook and Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's head of retail and personnel, visited several car accident victims at the South Bank Hospital (South Shore Hospital) on Friday, citing local news channel Boston 25 News.
CTOnews.com learned that the hospital wrote in a statement: "Thank Tim Cook and Deirdre O'Brien of Apple for coming to the South Bank Hospital on Friday to visit some of the patients injured in the tragedy of Apple Store in Hingham last week."
Alan Smith, dean of the hospital, added in a statement: "the sincere care and goodwill shown by Tim and his team during this visit greatly inspired the patients and us."
