Audi launches new charging service in Europe, which will be officially launched in 2023

CTOnews.com, November 29, the Pure Electric Generation has three prerequisites for success: long service life, high-voltage fast charging, and a dense charging network, and the major domestic manufacturers have done a good job in this respect.

Audi announced that it will officially launch Audi charging service charging service in 27 European countries on January 1, 2023.

Audi said the new charging service will have about 400000 charging outlets in Europe and will be operated by more than 800 suppliers. It also includes nearly 1900 HPC high-performance charging piles operated by IONITY, with charging power up to 350kW.

It is reported that the earliest e-tron charging service was launched with the birth of Audi's first mass-produced pure electric model four years ago. In order to bring the new charging service online, Audi has also partnered with Elli, a brand owned by Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH, to replace e-tron Charging Service, which was launched four years ago.

The relevant charges include basic fees and charging fees, which can be selected from three packages: Basic, Plus and Pro, with monthly fees of 0,7.99,14.99euros respectively, while Audi will pay part of the expenses for the first year.

CTOnews.com learned that existing Audi pure electric models will be transferred directly to the new charging service, depending on the amount of monthly fee paid, the electricity charge per kWh will vary.

It is worth mentioning that the Pro scheme, which pays 14.99 euros a month, can use 350kW fast charging IONITY and Audi HPC high-performance charging services at the same price, which is the cheapest option of all charging options.
