CTOnews.com December 1 news, citing foreign technology media NeoWin reported that Microsoft launched Surface Hub 55 and Surface Hub 84 two products seven years ago, mainly for enterprises, education scenes as digital collaboration tools and manufacturing promotion. Microsoft announced that support for the two original Surface devices ended on November 30, and new firmware and drivers will no longer be available for the two devices, but system updates will be available.

The two original Surface Hubs support up to 100 multi-touch points and support three Surface Pen handwriting inputs. In terms of specifications, these two devices are equipped with fourth-generation Intel Core i7 / i5 processors (these processors do not support Windows 11), running Windows 10 Team system based on Windows 10 transformation. The Surface Hub 84 offers up to a 4K 120Hz screen, while the Surface Hub 55 offers up to a Full HD 120Hz screen.

CTOnews.com understands that the two original Surface Hubs are not the only Surface devices that have stopped supporting, and in November Microsoft announced that it will stop supporting the original Surface Go with LTE support. Microsoft has announced that Surface Laptop 2 support will end on December 27.
