Bank of China Samsung Galaxy S20 series pushes One UI 5 update

CTOnews.com December 1 news, Samsung recently pushed One UI 5 updates to a number of its models, the Bank of China Samsung Galaxy S20 series also ushered in today's One UI 5 updates based on Android 13 systems.
CTOnews.com learned that One UI 5.0, based on Android 13, began rolling out to the Galaxy S22 series in October and to the remaining flagship products by 2023. One UI 5.0comes with an Android 13 kernel, new features such as lock screen customization, expanded color palettes, improved permission notification customization options, a slightly redesigned fast switching area, and better animation.
Sally Hyesoon Jeong, vice president of Android framework research and development for Samsung Electronics, said in an interview that One UI 5.0 is currently being launched in most markets around the world. From an engineering and product management point of view, it is impossible to give a definite date for each qualified model, but "we hope to complete the launch within this year."
