Google has introduced three new Tiles (known as "cards" in China) and improved native applications. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 will get these new features ahead of time.

Google says it has introduced three new Tiles:Favorite Contacts, Sunrise Time and Sunset Time for Wear OS smartwatches. Favorite Contacts serves all users, while the latter two showing sunrise and sunset are not very useful to the average user, but may provide some help to photographers, athletes and people who enjoy outdoor activities.

CTOnews.com learned that Tiles is a feature introduced by Google in WearOS 2.0. Most users use watches for an average of no more than 5 seconds, so the information on the watch must be easy to find, simple to interact with, and operational, which is why Tiles was born.

Tiles is a widget-like UI that allows users to get the information they need and complete operations in a more convenient way. The entrance to the Tiles slides to the left and can swipe multiple times to quickly enter a function. You can add, delete and reorder through the App control of the mobile phone.

Note-taking app Google Keep has also been updated with the ability to view tags, collaborators, photos, custom backgrounds, and even drawings. In addition, Google Assistant integrates with the Adidas Running app, so Galaxy Watch users can ask the Adidas Running app to start running through Google Assistant.
