Nvidia promotes four new maps for "my World RTX", which can be downloaded for free

CTOnews.com December 2 news, according to Nvidia official news, December 6, Nvidia will launch "My World RTX Edition" 4 new worlds, and also free. Just search for "NVIDIA" in the market and players can download it.

According to the introduction, the four new maps are "Red Stone Temple","Journey of Elves","Fantasy Islands" and "Encounter Aliens".

CTOnews.com understands that Nvidia and Microsoft launched Minecraft RTX Edition in 2020, adding ray tracing called Path Tracing to the game. Path tracing simulates how light travels throughout a scene, providing a uniform lighting computation model for many different types of effects that traditionally would be achieved separately through rasterizing or blending renderers. These include:

Direct light from the sun, sky and various sources

Realistic sharp shadows and soft shadows

Light from emitting surfaces such as luminite and lava

global illumination

Accurate reflection of water and metal surfaces

Transparent materials that reflect, refract and scatter, such as stained glass, water and ice

Volume fog and optical axis
