Vicino: the first Micro LED production line in China will achieve mass production in Chengdu.

CTOnews.com, December 2, according to Sichuan Economic Network, at the 2022 World display Industry Conference, Xu Fengying, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Vishino Technology, revealed that the first domestic Micro LED production line built by the company will achieve mass production in Chengdu.

Xu Fengying said that in 2019, Vicino hatched a company named Chenxian Optoelectronics in Chengdu High-tech Zone, mainly to build China's first Micro LED production line, which has completed the pilot test and is starting mass production in Chengdu.

CTOnews.com learned that at the conference, Chengdu Chenxian Optoelectronics displayed a 12.7in Micro LED splicable display screen. This is the first glass-based Micro-LED splicing display module for high-end TV in China, and the world's first 25 micron LED chip is used.

Data show that Chen Xian Optoelectronics, founded in 2020, is the Micro LED project operator jointly invested by Vishino and Chengdu State-owned Investment platform, focusing on mass transfer, drive and testing, chip design, color and other key technologies to carry out R & D and production.
