LG new QHD 240Hz OLED display luminance information announced: 200nit under SDR
CTOnews.com, December 3, LG recently released a 27GR95QE OLED game monitor, which will be pre-sold on December 12 for $999.99 (about 7180 yuan). Now, the LG overseas official website has now updated the brightness information of this display.
According to LG's official website, the display has a SDR brightness of 200 nits at 25% APL. According to public data, APL is a way to test the brightness of the OLED screen, with 100% of the full white screen and 0% of the black screen, with other colors in between, and the APL when displaying photos and videos is about 25%.
CTOnews.com learned that the display features a 26.5-inch OLED panel, four narrow-edge design, QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms GtG response time, 10bit color depth, 1500000 QHD 1 contrast, and 98.5% DCI-P3 gamut.
In other aspects, the display uses HDMI, DP, and USB 3.0ports, external power supply, and support for DTS:X headphones. Officials say the display, which combines the picture quality of the LG OLED series and the refresh rate of the LG UltraGear series, is the world's first 240Hz OLED e-sports monitor.
