Honda China: terminal sales of dual-motor hybrid models reached 179053 from January to November

CTOnews.com, December 5, Honda China today disclosed terminal car sales data for November 2022.

According to the data, Honda sold 78126 terminal vehicles in China in November 2022 and 1234610 terminal vehicles in China from January to November 2022.

CTOnews.com learned that Honda China said that models equipped with Honda's efficient dual-motor hybrid system had accumulated terminal sales of 179053 vehicles from January to November 2022.

Take the 11th generation of Honda Civic as an example, this model is equipped with the fourth generation i-MMD dual-motor hybrid system, using high-torque motor as the main drive, driving motor maximum power 135kW, maximum torque 315N ·m.

At the same time, the fourth generation i-MMD dual-motor hybrid power system adopts the newly developed 2.0L Di (in-cylinder direct injection) Atkinson cycle engine with thermal efficiency of 41%. Honda data show that under the control of the newly developed IPU intelligent power unit and PCU power control unit, the fuel consumption of the 11th Civic e:HEV under 100 km comprehensive operating conditions is 4.39L.
