China Eastern Airlines: plans to receive the first C919 aircraft delivered worldwide on December 9

CTOnews.com December 5 news, according to the financial news agency reported that China Eastern Airlines will receive the world's first C919 aircraft delivery at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport on December 9. China Eastern Airlines officials said that the C919 will not be officially put into commercial operation until the follow-up safety verification flight is completed.

According to the data, C919 large passenger aircraft is the first jet trunk passenger aircraft with independent intellectual property rights developed by China according to international prevailing airworthiness standards. It was established in 2007 and first flew in 2017, with 158-192 seats and a range of 4075- 555km.

On November 29, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued the production license (PC) for the C919 large passenger aircraft to COMAC, which is an important milestone for the C919 domestic large aircraft from the design and development stage to the mass production stage.

In addition, CCTV News previously reported that the C919 aircraft has completed the flight standardization committee type level training specification test, including China Commercial Aircraft Customer Service Center flight instructors including 15 pilots obtained C919 aircraft type qualification, which marks that the C919 aircraft is about to be delivered for operation.
