It is reported that the price of Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics card will be reduced, and the new price is expected to be close to AMD RX 7900 XTX

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, December 6, according to Bobantang, Nvidia is preparing for a price reduction for RTX 4080 graphics cards, which is expected to be announced in mid-December, and the final price may be close to AMD's upcoming RX 7900 XTX.

CTOnews.com learned that the official price of AMD RX 7900 XTX is 7999 yuan, while that of RTX 4080 is 9499 yuan.

In terms of parameters, RTX 4080 16GB has 9728 CUDA cores and 16GB high-speed Meguiar GDDR6X memory, which can reach twice the performance of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti in modern games; at lower power, the performance is more powerful than GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.

According to overseas media reports, RTX 4080 is not selling well at current prices, which makes RTX 4090 more cost-effective. With the upcoming release of AMD RX 7900 series graphics cards, it makes sense for Nvidia to reduce the price of RTX 4080.
