Support for AirTag, Apple macOS update to further enhance Find My function

CTOnews.com, December 7 (Xinhua)-- Apple has further enhanced the Find My feature to support finding AirTag in the latest update to the macOS Ventura 13.1 Beta version. Previously, users could only find AirTag in iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch versions of Find My, and Apple has now introduced this feature for Mac devices.

CTOnews.com learned that in previous macOS versions, users could only find devices such as iPhone and AirPods through Find My, but this Beta update extends traceability to AirTag and other Find My-enabled item tracking devices for the first time.

To find this new option, open the Find My application on your Mac. Then click the "items" tab and click on the accessories you are looking for. In addition to the general options for locating items, the "play Sound" option has been added to the Beta version. Trackable accessories such as AirTag make a sound when clicked, and the overall operation is the same as on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
