China successfully launched Kuaizhou 11 remote 2 carrier rocket
CTOnews.com, 7 December, 09:15 today, the Kuaizhou 11 solid carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from China's Jiuquan Satellite launch Center, successfully sending the Xingyun Traffic VDES test satellite into orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.
The main structure of the Kuaizhou 11 solid launch vehicle adopts carbon fiber composite materials, and the carrying capacity of the 700 km sun synchronous orbit is not less than 1 ton. The rocket has the characteristics of "mobile test and docking, mobile launch, mobile cloud measurement and control". It has the ability of rapid launch and can adapt to a variety of launch tasks.
After the successful entry of the Xingyun traffic VDES test satellite, it is mainly used to carry out the technical verification of VDES payload (VHF Data Exchange System, VHF data exchange system), which will provide guarantee for water emergency and safety supervision in the maritime field.
