At a distance of only 687 miles, NASA released a "macro" video of the moon during the Artemis 1 mission.
CTOnews.com, Dec. 7 (Xinhua)-- NASA's Orion spacecraft flew close to the moon during the Artemis 1 mission, "only" 687 miles (about 1105.62 kilometers) apart. NASA Artemis's official Twitter account today shared a video taken while flying over the moon, which shows two very large craters several miles wide.
CTOnews.com learned that although NASA did not disclose the names of these craters in its posts that shared the video, foreign technology media Space.com reported that reporter Philippe Henarejos thought the crater seen in the video was the 19-mile-wide Kepler crater (Kepler). It is located near the Apollo 12 landing area in the storm ocean area.
