CTOnews.com, December 7, according to Sinopec News, Maoming Petrochemical hydrogen fuel Cell hydrogen supply Center, the largest hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply center in southern China, successfully produced 99.999% high purity hydrogen.

According to Sinopec, Maoming Petrochemical hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply plant is currently the only hydrogen supply project in western Guangdong, and it is also the largest hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply center in South China.

At present, the first phase of the project is equipped with 3000 cubic meters / hour hydrogen purification device and 3000 kg / day hydrogenation mother station, and the hydrogen produced will be supplied to cities in Foshan and other Dawan area one after another, which can meet the hydrogen demand of local hydrogen buses in advance.

In the second phase of the project, an additional filling compressor and two hydrogenation columns will be added, which can supply 10 hydrogenation stations and meet the hydrogen demand of about 400 buses or logistics vehicles.

Up to now, Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical, Tianjin Petrochemical, Qilu Petrochemical, Qingdao Petrochemical, Gaoqiao Petrochemical, Shanghai Petrochemical, Guangzhou Petrochemical, Hainan Refining and Maoming Petrochemical have successively built nine hydrogen fuel cell hydrogen supply centers across the country.

CTOnews.com learned that compared with pure electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles have the characteristics of long mileage, short hydrogenation time, zero emission and zero pollution, and are especially suitable for application scenarios such as low temperature, mountain area, heavy load and long-distance transportation.
