The battery in the AirPods Pro 2 charging case consumes electricity even when it is not in use. Affected users reported that they could consume 10% of their electricity in one night when not in use.

These affected AirPods Pro 2 users reported that this excessive power consumption issue occurred after installing the "5B58" update. One user wrote: "Ever since the latest firmware update to 5B58, my charging case has experienced severe power consumption. At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, battery charge was 100%(AirPods and charging case), and at 3:37 p.m. Sunday, battery charge was 52% when not in use. Has anyone ever been in this situation? "

Another user commented: "I noticed that it consumes 10% of its power every night, but I didn't use it in the process, it just lost 10% of its power after one night."
