CTOnews.com, December 8-Apple Apple TV+ ordered the new series "Presumed Innocent" by J.J. Abrams and David M. Kelley in February this year. The latest news is that Apple is in talks with actor Jack Gyllenhaal to play the lead role in the show.

CTOnews.com learned that the innocent sinner is based on a novel of the same name published by Scott Turow in 1987 and tells the story of a terrible murder. Rusty worked hard in the prosecutor's office for many years and finally became chief prosecutor. One day, assistant prosecutor Caroline showed up at Rusty's side and threw herself at him.

It turned out that Caroline had coveted the post of chief prosecutor of Rusty for a long time, and she wanted to help Rusty take up the post of director of the Inspectorate, so that she could benefit from it. Knowing that Rusty was not ambitious and had no interest in climbing to the pinnacle of power, Caroline decisively left Rusty when she learned that her plan had failed.

However, one day, Rusty suddenly got the news that Caroline had been killed, and he found it strange that all kinds of evidence at the scene of the murder accused Rusty of being the culprit. Rusty knew that he had fallen into a trap planned by someone, and he was the only one who was willing to defend him.

Apple has basically locked in, inviting Gyllenhaal to play the leading role. The show is currently being adapted into a TV series by David Kelly, working with Matthew Tinker as executive producer of David E. Kelley Productions.
