CTOnews.com learned from Microsoft's official update log that the software version number of Surface Duo 2 was upgraded to 2022.819.57 after installing the December update, which included the security patches outlined in December Android Security Bulletin.

Another noteworthy fix is the issue that Surface Duo 2 users' incoming calls go directly to voicemail and outbound calls end immediately after upgrading the Android 12L. Surface Duo 2 users can update by going to Settings > system updates.
