CTOnews.com, December 13, according to financial data, Apple MacBook contract manufacturer Guangda had revenue of 112.097 billion New Taiwan dollars (about 25.558 billion yuan) in November 2022, up 3% from the previous month and down 1% from the same period last year.

In terms of shipments, Guangda shipped 4.3 million notebook computers in November, an increase of 100000 from the previous month. In addition, Quanta's consolidated revenue reached NT $1.175211 trillion (about 267.948 billion yuan) in the first 11 months of this year, up 17% from a year earlier.

Taiwan media pointed out that Quanta's November revenue growth mainly benefited from the increase in laptop shipments. Looking to the future, the legal person estimates that Quanta's monthly revenue will decline compared with November due to the traditional off-season in the European and American markets in December.

CTOnews.com learned that at the legal conference held in November this year, Quanta said in 2023 that there was still much uncertainty in laptop demand in 2023 and predicted that notebook computers would continue to decline in 2023. At the same time, Quanta predicts that the decline in laptops in 2023 will not be the same as in 2022, and is expected to decline slightly in 2023.

For comparison, Quanta earned NT $108.791 billion (about 24.804 billion yuan) in October 2022, down 9.9% from a month earlier and up 8.1% from a year earlier.
