CTOnews.com, Dec. 13 The Xbox MVP (Xbox Most Valuable Experts) program has been used to honor outstanding leaders in the Xbox gaming community. Citing foreign technology media Windows Central reports, Microsoft plans to officially close the Xbox MVP program by the end of this year.

After the program closes, the Xbox Ambassador community will continue to perform related functions. Microsoft has invited some Xbox MVPs to become "Xbox Ambassador Community Champions," hoping they will play a more active role in Xbox's future.

CTOnews.com learned that Xbox MVPs are nominated by the community and directly endorsed by Xbox, and they can participate in exclusive events, conversations and programs to suggest improvements to Xbox to Microsoft. Now, the project seems to be coming to an end.

According to Windows Central, Xbox is planning to shut down the entire Xbox MVP program on December 30, 2022, and will no longer recognize the award after that date.

Currently active Xbox MVP members, including developers, moderators, streamers and creators, will still be able to enjoy Xbox MVP status. Xbox also presents a new way for these MVPs to continue contributing to Xbox, to the community, and to how we play the Xbox games we love.
