Hundreds of thousands of units are available, and raspberry pie CEO hopes to ease the shortage of supplies during the Christmas holiday.
CTOnews.com December 13, Raspberry pie CEO Eben Upton (Eben Upton) announced this morning that the company has specially increased its stock for the Christmas shopping season to facilitate enthusiasts and other individual users.
The shortage of raspberry pie leads to a serious premium
Eben Upton said in a statement released today:
To thank our enthusiasts who are very patient before this holiday season, we have stocked hundreds of thousands of units, including the 2GB and 4GB versions of Zero W, 3A + and Raspberry Pie 4. These products are now flowing to approved dealer channels, which should ease the current tight supply situation.
Eben Upton says it should be easier for consumers to buy raspberry pie from sellers. And he said production will return to levels before the COVID-19 epidemic in the second quarter of 2023 and is expected to be in full supply in the second half of next year.
CTOnews.com learned that raspberry pie single board computers have been in short supply, especially for individual customers, which led to sharp price increases during the pandemic. The price of Raspberry Pi Zero increased from $5 to $10 and Raspberry Pi Zero W from $10 to $15.
