CTOnews.com December 13 news, ASRock is now registered with the W790 motherboard, is expected to be launched in the first quarter of next year with Intel's new W-series Xeon processors.

According to the latest revelations, Intel will release the Xeqiang Wmai 3400 and Wmai 2400 series workstation processors on February 12 next year. The Wmai 2400 series workstations will go on sale in March and the Wmai 3400 will go on sale in April.

According to the previous revelations, the W790 chipset will adopt the LGA 4677 socket design, connect with the new generation Xeon processors through the 8DMI Gen4 interface, support PCIe 4.0and PCIe 3.0channels, and integrate the Wi-Fi 6e network.

CTOnews.com learned that Intel's mainstream Wmur2400 series Xeon processors include W3 to W7 models, 6 cores to 24 cores, three levels of cache up to 45MB, up to 4.8GHz, 64 CPU PCIe 5.0channels, support for up to 2TB 4-channel DDR5-4800 memory, and power consumption of up to 225W. The strong WMel 3400 series includes W5 to W9 models, 12 cores to 56 cores, three-tier cache up to 105MB, frequency up to 4.8GHz, 112 CPU PCIe 5.0channels, support up to 4TB 8-channel DDR5-4800 memory, and power consumption up to 350W.
