All in all, the price per GB of HDD has fallen by 87.4% since 2009, with most of the price reductions occurring after 2017. From 2017 to the present, despite the impact of some HDD cryptocurrencies and the COVID-19 epidemic, the overall price of HDD has dropped by 56.36%.

CTOnews.com has learned that according to Klein, due to the increased storage density of 22TB and 24TB HDD, HDD storage is expected to be priced at $0.01 / GB by 2025. That's about $220,220 (currently about 1531 yuan) or $240,240 (currently about 1670 yuan) for 22TB or 24TB HDD.
