Bilibili announces the 2022 on-screen comment: "elegance"

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of the clue of Destiny Stone Gate! CTOnews.com news on December 15, today bilibili and Zhonghua Book Company jointly released the 2022 on-screen comment "elegance". Unlike the annual bullet screens released a few years ago, such as "broken Defense" (2021) and "Yeqing Hui" (2020), bilibili's "elegance" released this year is not a word coined on the Internet.

The original meaning of "elegance" is graceful and elegant. In the traditional Chinese context, it is often used to describe the beauty of harmony in art, or to praise other people's cultural taste and etiquette. On the Internet today, "elegance" is often used to praise someone for being calm because of his strong heart or excellent skills, and can find and maintain a calm and steady state no matter what the circumstances.

Bilibili said that such "elegance" can be the highlight of discovering a variety of things in ordinary people, the creation of poetry and interest in daily life, or the wit and courage shown in out-of-control and dilemmas. Everyone who takes life seriously and lives out of himself can be called "elegant".

CTOnews.com learned that bilibili's third-quarter financial report showed that revenue in that quarter reached 5.79 billion yuan, an increase of 11% over the same period last year. The average number of daily active users reached 90.3 million and the average monthly active users reached 333 million, both up 25 per cent from the same period last year.
