In the latest article, foreign science and technology media Ghacks thinks that this function is a bit chicken rib and can not find an accurate processing application in Microsoft Store.

Loyal netizens of CTOnews.com, what will you do if you encounter file types that the system does not recognize when you are using Win10 / Win11 system? Microsoft provides a "search Microsoft Store" function in the system right-click menu to help users quickly find suitable processing applications.

Ghacks pointed out in the article that Microsoft's feature is actually quite scary, it just searches for file suffix names, for example, the system does not recognize docx files, then using this feature is to search for "docx" in Microsoft Store. But the feedback results are not an accurate match.

Also take "docx" as an example, the result of feedback is not some official applications such as Microsoft Office, but the results of Trio Office, Neat Office and so on.

The first result of the search for "mp4" is Tencent Video, not the official Microsoft app. But four of the first eight apps are official.
