The redesigned version of Apple Map is available in five countries or regions, including the Netherlands / Belgium / Switzerland.
CTOnews.com, December 15 (Xinhua)-- Apple announced today that its redesigned Apple Maps mapping app is being launched in the Netherlands, Belgium, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The new experience provides more details, improved navigation, customized 3D models of popular landmarks, immersive turn walking instructions driven by AR augmented reality, and more.
Starting today, Look Around will be extended to all these countries to provide high-resolution street images in the map application. This feature is similar to Google Maps Street View, but has a smoother transition when panning and zooming.
CTOnews.com learned that the updated Apple Map experience was first launched in the United States in 2019 and has since expanded to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, France, Germany and other countries and regions.
