CTOnews.com, December 17 (Xinhua) the final episode of the first season of "Shantaram" has been broadcast today, and it has been reported that Apple has stopped subscribing to the show. Xiang Taran tells the story of Lin Ford, played by Charlie Hunnam, a former bank robber who moves to Mumbai and tries to reinvent himself. It is based on Gregory Gregory David Roberts's best-selling book, which has sold more than 6 million copies.

Production of the show was suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic, and the project was shelved for a while after the departure of program planner Eric Warren Singh (Eric Warren Singer). It is not clear why Apple has not renewed the show. Deadline reports that it is not as popular as other content on Apple TV +.

The author of the novel Roberts' own experience is very complicated, Ford's story has his shadow, but "Xiang Taran" is a fictional novel, not a real work.
