CTOnews.com has learned that in recent years, three Gorges Energy has actively developed onshore wind and photovoltaic power generation, vigorously developed offshore wind power, accelerated the construction of large-scale wind power and photovoltaic power generation bases focusing on deserts, Gobi and deserts, further promoted the development of load-storage integration and multi-energy complementary development of the source network, and actively carried out pumped storage, new-type energy storage, hydrogen energy, photothermal and other businesses. Has basically formed a wind power, solar energy, energy storage, strategic investment and other supporting business pattern.

Data show that by the end of June 2022, the energy business of the three Gorges has covered 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, with an installed scale of more than 25 million kilowatts and total assets of nearly 250 billion yuan, with installed scale and profitability firmly in the forefront of the same industry in China.

In the first half of 2022, the installed capacity of the three Gorges energy increased by 2.1046 million kilowatts, including 800600 kilowatts of onshore wind power and 130.40 million kilowatts of solar power.
