Time Geely Power Battery Yibin project officially started construction in October 2020, planning annual production capacity 15GWh, the total investment is not more than 8 billion yuan, the planning covers an area of about 500mu, lasting 14 months, has been fully put into production. Upon completion, it will generate employment of about 2500 people.

CTOnews.com learned that time Geely (Sichuan) Power Battery Co., Ltd. has settled in Yibin and built a modern enterprise integrating sales, technology research and development and intelligent manufacturing. According to Sichuan, Yibin has been identified as the province's first batch of pilot cities to manufacture strong cities this year. By 2030, one out of every seven new energy vehicles in the world will be equipped with "Yibin" power batteries.
