Intel i5-13400 foreign media evaluation outflow: 6 large cores + 4 small cores, performance close to i5-12600K
CTOnews.com December 19 news, Intel 13-generation Kuifei K-series processors are about to be launched, Vietnamese media nguyencongpc has now released a review in advance, comparing i5-13400 with i5-12600K.
In terms of image source nguyencongpc specifications, i5-13400 CPU has 6 large cores and 4 small cores, with a total of 10 cores and 16 threads, with a main frequency of 2.5 GHz, a full core of 4.1 GHz, a single core of 4.6 GHz, a L3 cache of 28 MB and a basic power consumption of 65 W.
According to foreign media estimates, Intel Core i5-13400 is about 10% slower than Core i5-12600K in multithreaded workloads and 5% slower in single-threaded workloads in Cinebench. In the PugetSystem benchmark, i5-13400 is 5% slower than i5-12600K. In the Blender test, i5-13400 is 5% slower than i5-12600K.
In addition, foreign media mentioned that the power consumption of this processor is slightly higher on the existing BIOS, and the motherboard supplier will launch a new BIOS when it is released, which will solve this problem.
CTOnews.com has learned that Intel is expected to release the 13th generation of Coolfield K-series processors and B760 series motherboards on CES in early January, possibly as early as January.
