Nexon, South Korea's largest game developer, announced that it will cooperate with Tencent to build a meta-universe platform.
CTOnews.com, December 20, Nexon, the largest game developer in South Korea, recently announced that it has reached a partnership with Tencent Cloud to build a virtual world community platform NEXONTOWN based on Tencent Cloud's real-time audio and video (TRTC) technology.
It is understood that Nexon Town is a virtual community in which users can interact with objects and characters from Nexon online games such as Rocky, Adventure Island and Bubble House. Users can hold online events in virtual conference halls, classrooms and squares and exchange digital files such as PDF or video. Users can also decorate their own space, such as virtual houses.
CTOnews.com learned that Nexon is a Korean gaming giant with famous works such as "Dungeon & Fighter", "Crazy Racing Kart Rider", "Adventure Island" and "Bubble House".
