Spies have released a new pure electric SUV road test photo suspected to be named EC7. The appearance and style of the new car is similar to that of Tesla Model Y, but the appearance details still have a typical Weilai style.

As can be seen from the spy photos, the front of the new car is similar to the front face of Weilai EC6, which is still designed for the family "watchtower". It uses split headlights, the upper part is horizontal daytime driving lights, and the lower part is vertical headlight sets.

On the side of the body, the new car uses a sedan-style sliding back shape, while the wheel eyebrows use a round shape, compared with the EC6, the new car becomes more streamlined, and the lines remove the elements of right-angled edges. The rear part uses a new through taillight design, similar to the design of the ET7. There is also a beautiful spoiler at the rear, with a sign for a pure electric vehicle.

CTOnews.com learned that the ES7 has a lidar in the center, with 8-megapixel cameras on each side, and the EC7 is expected to use the same configuration.

In terms of the rear, the new car is expected to adopt a through taillight design and a slippery back shape. Weilai EC7 is expected to be larger than EC6. According to Weilai EC6, its length, width and height are 4850/1965/1731mm and its wheelbase is 2900mm.

In other aspects, it is expected that the future EC7 will be equipped with panoramic digital cockpit PanoCinema using AR / VR technology, but unfortunately there is no more configuration information for the time being.
