The retailer's list shows the Intel 10-core Raptor Lake-S processor "Cool i5-13400", which comes in two versions, i5-13400F without set display and i5-13400 with set display.

The retailer did not confirm the number of cores, but mentioned that the cache is 20MB and the underlying clock rate is 2.5GHz. In addition, the list shows that the price of Intel's next-generation CPU series will be 24% to 27% higher than that of its predecessor. Although the price increase is obvious, it is worth mentioning that due to the increase in the number of cores from 6 to 10, or more precisely, four efficient cores are enabled on the chip itself, the performance of i5-13400 should be much better than the Alder Lake version.

CTOnews.com learned that some early benchmark results showed that i5-13400 multicore performance should be 24 per cent faster than i5-12400 and 7 per cent faster for single cores.

According to rumors, Intel will launch its 13th generation Cooler series after it is announced during CES 2023 on January 3, 2023. Importantly, the Core i5-13400 is not the only processor. The company will also introduce the i9-13900, i7-13700, i5-13600, i5-13500 and i3-13100 SKU, all of which have a base power of 65W.
