CTOnews.com, December 21, according to a report in Taiwan's Economic Daily, the Apple iPhone 15 is expected to usher in a major upgrade next year. It has been reported in the market that in addition to the flagship model with a periscope lens for the first time to make the phone lighter and thinner, Apple has designated suppliers to use ALD atomic layer deposition equipment with an asking price of more than NT $100 million (about RMB 22.7 million) each to comprehensively improve image quality.

The market estimates that the total cost of ALD coating equipment ordered by Dali has exceeded the company's highest capital expenditure (NT $8.5 billion).

Taiwan media pointed out that due to the long delivery time of the equipment, and the equipment in place still needs to be verified, Dali issued an order last year to purchase equipment and mastered noise removal acousto-optic (Flare) technology. In addition to the periscope telephoto lens, the two new prisms also need to be coated in the future. Because of mastering the technology and the first opportunity, Da Liguang is expected to take all the new machine upgrade lens order.

Data show that Dali's capital expenditure reached a new high of NT $8.5 billion (about 1.93 billion yuan) in 2019. CTOnews.com learned that outsiders are expected to push up Dali's capital expenditure to a new high as ALD equipment comes in place one after another.
