Intel announces the official launch of the fourth generation Xeon scalable processor on January 10

CTOnews.com December 22 news, Intel issued a press release today, saying that on January 10, Intel will officially launch the fourth generation Intel Xeon scalable processors and Intel Xeon CPU Max series, as well as the Intel data center GPU Max series for high performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence.

CTOnews.com learned that the fourth-generation Intel Xeon Extensible processor, code-named Sapphire Rapids, is by far Intel's most feature-rich Xeon processor.

According to reports, the fourth generation of Intel Xeon scalable processors provide excellent overall performance, will support DDR5, PCIe 5.0 and CXL 1.1, and provide up to 30 times the performance improvement through software and hardware optimization for AI workloads with the new integrated accelerator.
