The CR200J Fuxing EMU, which made its debut on the line, is jointly developed and produced by CRRC Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. and CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., and the painting is composed of four main colors: "China Red", "China White", "Great Wall Grey" and "Guohuai Green".

Different from the past, the new CR200J Fuxing EMU adopts 9 sections, including 1 power car, 1 control car and 7 second class seat cars. CTOnews.com learned that, specifically, the new CR200J is 232.5 meters long and has a maximum operating speed of 160km / h. It has a seating capacity of 676 people, including 642 second-class seats, 28 first-class seats and 6 business seats.

At present, the new Chengdu-Kunming Railway has entered the final stage of trial operation according to the diagram. After the opening of the whole line, the train travel time from Chengdu to Xichang, Panzhihua and Kunming has been greatly reduced, up to 2 hours 55 minutes, 5 hours 03 minutes and 7 hours 23 minutes respectively.
