Musk's stake in SpaceX has declined in recent years, according to regulatory documents

CTOnews.com, Dec. 25, according to the Wall Street Journal, regulatory documents show that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk (Elon Musk)'s stake in SpaceX has declined in recent years, but it has maintained control of the company.

A trust fund related to Mr Musk owns 42 per cent of SpaceX, according to a document submitted by SpaceX to FCC last week; the committee oversees the satellite broadband division of Starlink. At that time, the trust held a 54 per cent stake in SpaceX, according to a document in November 2016.

CTOnews.com learned that Musk's trust fund also controls 78 per cent of SpaceX's voting rights, according to a recent filing by FCC. This ratio has been stable since November 2016.
