The RPCS3 simulator already supports running all Sony PS3 games
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, December 26, RPCS3 is an open source Sony PlayStation 3 simulator that allows users of Windows, Linux or BSD systems to run Sony PlayStation 3 games.
The RPCS3 official announced today that the simulator has supported all Sony PlayStation 3 games, meaning that the number of games on the black screen has been reduced to zero after startup, and all PlayStation 3 games will at least be able to output display screens.
From the official statistics, we can see that the Sony PlayStation 3 games that can be played by the RPCS3 simulator account for 67.98%, and 0% of the games that cannot be run and start with a black screen.
CTOnews.com learned that RPCS3 simulator also supports AMD FSR resolution oversampling, but AMD FSR may not be very good for RPCS3 simulator, because PlayStation 3 simulator games are very popular with CPU, and the requirements for GPU optimized by FSR are not very high, and there is no anti-aliasing, so the screen may lose a lot after opening it.
RPCS3 simulator is currently available in Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD versions.
