According to previous rumors, the new machine will be equipped with a newly developed autofocus system, possibly using LiDAR technology jointly developed with DJI, and is expected to be officially unveiled during the CP + exhibition in February next year.

After the release of the new machine, the Mark II model will replace the current Lumix S5 microorder.

CTOnews.com learned that the original Panasonic Lumix S5 camera was released in September 2020 and has not been updated for more than two years.

The Panasonic Lumix S5 is equipped with a Venus engine and a 2420-megapixel CMOS full-frame sensor with dual native ISO technology, which provides the largest ISO 51200 (extended ISO 204800) with a shutter speed of 1 pound 8000 seconds. In addition to RAW, it also supports 9600-megapixel high-resolution mode in JPEG format.
