The Indian company wants to sell a fake version of Apple Watch Ultra for about 336 yuan.
CTOnews.com, December 28 (Xinhua) Indian brand Pebble plans to release a new smartwatch that looks like a direct copy of Apple's Apple Watch Ultra design.
The watch, called Pebble Cosmos Engage, sells for just 3999 Indian rupees, and its functions are obviously not as good as Apple Watch Ultra. For example, the watch boasts a LCD display with a brightness of up to 600 nits, while the Apple Watch Ultra has an OLED display with a brightness of up to 2000 nits. Obviously, the watch won't run watchOS either, but it seems to copy Apple Watch's dial and heart rate monitoring functions.
CTOnews.com has learned that Pebble is already selling fake versions of ordinary Apple Watch and other smartwatches, and the brand does not seem to have anything to do with former smartwatch company Pebble, which was acquired by Fitbit in 2016.
