CTOnews.com, December 28 (Xinhua) the movie "Avatar 2: the way of Water" was officially released on Friday, December 16, and has so far grossed 780 million yuan on Chinese mainland in its 13 days of release.

In the latest interview, director James Cameron revealed that he had filmed scenes for Avatar 3 and Avatar 4 because he didn't want young actors to have a significant age change in the sequel.

Cameron, who has filmed the first scenes of Avatar 3 and Avatar 4, wants to avoid the so-called "strange tale effect" and is keen to maintain the continuity of the sequel and ensure that young actors do not lose their roles as they get older, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Cameron, a young actor from ▲ Avatar 2: the way of Water, said: "I like the Story of Strange things, but if they don't, they will get the effect of Strange things. They should still be in high school, but they look 27 years old."
