Arduboy Mini shrinks further in appearance, but it has the advantages of a large Arduboy, including OLED screens and hundreds of open source games, and Kevin Bates encourages users to explore hardware modifications and software programming.
CTOnews.com learned that the Arduboy Mini comes with a 128x64 monochrome OLED screen, a 16MHz ATmega32u4 processor, and six buttons-four on the left and two on the right-that can be used as action buttons in the game. The seventh button is also located on the back of the device and is used to reset the handset.
More than 300 8-bit retro-style games are pre-installed on the small game console, all of which are open source and created by a dedicated developer community.
