Samsung announces new technology: improve camera video shooting ability around three key points, Galaxy S24 series is expected to take the lead in equipment
Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com December 31, Samsung issued a press release today, announcing that it will greatly improve the shooting capability of the flagship camera part of the Galaxy S24 series in 2024, especially in video.
With the new "Nano-photonics Color Routing" technology, Samsung can create a new series of high-performance smartphone camera sensors, which can not only improve the quality of video recording, but also reduce power consumption and processing requirements.
CTOnews.com learned that sensors built with the new process introduce three key performance improvements for video shooting:
Improve low light performance and reduce visual noise
Increase dynamic range, or the ability to capture both dark shadows and bright highlights
Depth sensing allows the camera to create a pleasant defocus background while keeping the subject clear, similar to iPhone's "movie mode".
Through the above three key performance improvements, Samsung hopes that the video quality of the sensor can reach the level of photography. In addition, it brings users an excellent video shooting experience with the help of advanced software techniques such as multi-frame capture and AI-based processing.
