Today, the first flight verified is MU7809, from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport to Beijing Daxing International Airport.

It is reported that the verification flight of the world's first large domestic aircraft, C919, officially began at 08:30 in the morning. This is the ninth verification flight of the C919 since December 26, 2022, and its first flight in the New year of 2023. It is understood that the C919 will have a total of 100 hours of verification flight.

CTOnews.com learned that the main purpose of the verification flight is to verify the airline's ability to operate the C919 safely. The 100-hour verification flight will last until mid-February 2023, and the airports will take off and land at 9 provinces and 10 airports. On each flight verification day, the C919 will take off from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to the Beijing capital, Beijing Daxing, Chengdu Tianfu, Xi'an, Haikou, Qingdao, Wuhan, Nanchang, Jinan and other destinations, and return to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport on the same day.
