Differential tolls are implemented on expressways in Gansu Province, and vehicles with new energy licenses can enjoy preferential tolls.
CTOnews.com January 2 news, according to the website of Gansu Provincial Department of Transportation, from January 1 this year, Gansu continues to implement the 2022 highway differential toll policy, and further expand the scope of differential toll policy implementation.
CTOnews.com learned that a total of 936.51 km of trucks running from Wuwei to Yumen of G30 Lianhuo Expressway, Leijiajiao to Xifeng of G22 Qinglan Expressway, Linxia to Cooperation Section of G1816 Wuma Expressway and Jingtai to Zhongchuan of G1816 Wuma Expressway, as well as new energy license plates using ETC will be charged differently in Gansu in 2022.
Specifically, Gansu gives a 15% discount on tolls for vehicles with new energy license plates that use ETC on highways in the province, and trucks with new energy license plates enjoy the preferential policy of differential tolls for road sections at the same time.
According to the Gansu Provincial Department of Transportation, from January 1 to December 31, 2023, the "decreasing" differential toll of the G30 Lianhuo Expressway from Wuwei South to Yumen will be extended 197 km westward from Yumen Toll Station to Liuyuan Toll Station. Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiuquan, Jiayuguan, Yumen and Dunhuang along the Hexi road network will be fully included in the differential toll sections. So far, the total mileage of differential toll roads in Gansu Province has reached 1133.51 km.
Prior to this, Gansu Province selected a total of 744.5 km of expressways from Linxia to Cooperation Section of G1816 Wuma Expressway, Leijiajiao to Xifeng Section of G22 Qinglan Expressway, Jingtai to Zhongchuan Section of G1816 Wuma Expressway, and Shandan West to Yumen Section of G30 Lianhuo Expressway from January 1, 2022, and implemented differential tolls for new energy license cars that pass through the province's highways and use ETC. The maximum cumulative discount range is 57.5%. Starting from July 1, the differential toll section of the G30 Lianhuo Expressway from Shandan West to Yumen will be extended eastward to Wuwei South Toll Station, with preferential mileage increased from 744.5 km to 936.51 km.
