CTOnews.com, January 2, according to CCTV News, the scientific research team of the National Space Science Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is developing a very important satellite-solar wind-magnetosphere interaction panoramic imaging satellite, also known as "SMILE", smile Project.
SMILE satellite is mainly used to better understand the relationship between solar activity and the variation of the earth's magnetic field. It is planned to launch in 2025 to provide data support for human space weather early warning and forecasting services. It will also provide a new and important platform for human beings to explore the vast universe and expand cognitive boundaries.
CTOnews.com learned that the dark matter particle detection satellite Wukong, the quantum science experiment satellite Mozi, and the integrated solar exploration satellite Kuafu-1, which recently released its first images, are all led by the Space Center as the overall unit.
