CTOnews.com, January 4 (Xinhua)-- Game Studio IO Interactive is restarting the "Hitman" series and plans to combine the trilogy into a big game, "Hitman-World of Assassination." The game will contain maps and content for "Hitman 1" and "Hitman 2" at no extra charge.

Game studio IO Interactive said that existing "Killer 3" buyers can get the design for free, and developers are about to cancel the sale of independent works on all platforms. As for why the change was made, the studio said it was to reduce players' confusion about which version of the "killer" to buy.

"We are dealing with these changes in an uncompromising way," IO Interactive explained. "We are making sure that players can easily and directly access or enjoy World of Assassination.

CTOnews.com learned that if players want to buy a new Hitman-World of Assassination, it costs $70 and offers annual game content for Killer 3, Killer 2 and Killer 1.

But the game's DLC and extended Drop content, including the deluxe version of Killer 3, Seven Deadly Sins season tickets and Killer 2 extension tickets, will cost an additional $30 for Deluxe Pack.
