Sources say Microsoft is developing Surface Earbuds 2 wireless headphones: code name Ella

CTOnews.com, January 4, Microsoft may have given up the Surface Earbuds wireless headset. The TWS headphones, which have been online for more than two years, are currently priced at 1588 yuan at Microsoft China Mall, and are out of stock in both glacier white and graphite ash colors. After the release of the headset, Microsoft rarely provides firmware updates to Surface Earbuds, so there are still some errors in Bug, which can affect the experience.

According to Windows Central, Microsoft is developing a follow-up product for Surface Earbuds, temporarily known as Surface Earbuds 2, code-named Ella, which was expected to be launched by the end of 2022, but Microsoft has not yet released the new Surface Earbuds product, and it is not clear whether it will be skipped or cut.

Hope that Microsoft can polish and eventually launch Surface Earbuds 2 wireless headphones, and bring active noise reduction, better design, wireless charging, etc., because this is almost the standard feature of wireless headphones at the current price of $200.

CTOnews.com learned that the Surface Earbuds's original wireless headphones can provide 8 hours of battery life, 24 hours with a charge box, 7.2g per ear, 20-20 kHz audio range, 13.6mm sound unit, dual microphones, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and IPX4 class dustproof and waterproof.
