Turn into a "burning island"? Some Apple iPhone 14 Pro users encounter the "screen burning" problem on Smart Island.

Thanks to the CTOnews.com netizens for the reverse voice and the clues of tomato fried tomato delivery! CTOnews.com, January 7 (Xinhua)-- after the launch of the iPhone 14 series in September last year, Apple has been controversial for using the Smart Island design for its new Pro model. Now, some users' complaints show that there is a screen burning on the smart island part of the iPhone 14 Pro series screen.

Dynamic Island (Smart Island) is an exclusive software and hardware feature of iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models, and is a special design for displaying application notifications. Combined with the hole digging screen, this function can be expanded or even changed according to the notice.

Recently, a user @ zollotech shared on Twitter that there was a screen burning problem in the Smart Island area on iPhone 14 Pro.

The user said he had contacted Apple's licensing service and that the company's employees had not encountered a similar situation before. The user has an extended Apple Care+ warranty, so the screen will be replaced free of charge. Another iPhone 14 Pro user said he encountered the same problem less than a month after buying the phone, with traces of the smart island part of the screen.

Some speculate that the marks on the screen are not actually "burning the screen" and that the problem is caused by the display panel. Apple has yet to comment on user complaints.

CTOnews.com learned that there had been some feedback about Smart Island, including the inability to activate the feature in iMessage and FaceTime applications. In addition, the "Mobile Island" display has been moved to another part of the screen, which is one of the problems complained by a large number of users.
