While the company will start selling online in 2020, it has yet to open an offline Apple Store.

CTOnews.com understands that Apple Store was originally scheduled to open in 2021, but the global epidemic and economic uncertainty forced Apple to postpone the opening. Earlier reports said the company aims to launch in the January-March 2023 range. The Apple Store in Mumbai will occupy 22000 square feet and will be a "landmark" retail store known for its iconic design.

Apple also plans to open a second, smaller Apple Store in New Delhi, measuring 10,000 - 12,000 square feet.
